Manually trigger controller detection without replugging the wheel?

Hi guys,

My problem is as follows:
I play a number of different racing sims and usually use different settings for my steering wheel, Thrustmaster T300RS.
I often start BeamNG with the wrong rotation setting and then change it in the Windows Game Controller panel. As soon as I change it, however, I lose the force feedback in BeamNG.

The only way to reactivate it is either to restart the game or to replug my wheels USB.

Is there a more convenient way to do this? Apparently there are no hotkeys to manually trigger controller detection or similar.

Thank you, but it didn't help. I think my point wasn't quite clear, so let me rephrase.

There is no problem with the game or my wheel, it works as intended.

The only thing is: If I change settings in the Windows Game Controller panel while BeamNG is running, the force feedback will stop working. The only way to fix it is restarting the game or replugging the wheel. I just wonder, is there a way to avoid restarting or replugging?
