My maps always have annoying fog that make taking pictures on them really hard to properly accomplish... what can I do to reduce sky-related fog.
The editor has some adjustability for this however it only seems to lessen it. Good question though...I'd like to get rid of it as well.
glad to see that I am not the only one stumped here. I only know how to make it black or make it fog -_- I've released 4 maps and now 33%(estimation) done a 5th one.
When I got a better machine the improved graphics settings appeared to take care of a lot of the fog and blinding white of the Gridmap level. Crisp draw distance too. Can't read Drowsy's attach pic on my phone but will definately look at it soon. EDIT: Putting fog density to "0" did the trick. Major difference. Thanks Drowsy!
Try something like 0.0001 for the fog density. Looks more realistic than 0, since there's always some haze in the air. Unless you're making a space map, of course..
Entire modified Gridmap from 1500ft up with fog density on 0. Totally lovin' it. A slight amount of fog does indeed give a realistic effect though.
Thanks, I might even Update all my old maps to have better fog settings like 0.001/0.01/0 depending on what looks best. Level Info, what a wired place to have that setting. Edit: THANK YOU DROWSYSAM!
