"A lovely large town at the foot of the Bieszczady National Reserve in south-east Poland." Hello, today I will show you a idea of a map. The town of Stalowa Biesczada is a town in south-eastern Poland with the San River running around south-east to north of the town and ironically is not exactly close to the Bieszczady Natural Reserve... It is based on the real-life town of Sanok in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship a.k.a my home town. Here is the map of Sanok with the border of region marked in red. (Sorry for the accomodations marked on the map I couldn't get them off without removing the border) I could make it a mod but I lack the confidence to do it, plus I'm still learning how do level design. The area of the whole town is 38.15 square kilometres or 14.73 square miles so the question is that can we scale it down without sacrifing portions of the map and will it be taxing to run?
It would not be out of the ordinary for Beam to scale it down. For example, Belasco is about 1/2500 the size of San Francisco. Fun fact: if the devs made a map the size of SF (ca. 600km^2) and as compressed as Belasco, it could host the entire US Southeast or Alaska.
I'm kinda palnning to include the whole of Sanok County (which is 1,225 sq. km) and hopefully compress it
