Maps aren't working

The vanilla maps aren't working properly for me. I hear the sound of the blue pickup when i spawn, but i can't see anything but the sun. This doensn't happen on Safe Mode, for obvious reasons. But it shouldn't be happening on the normal game as well, as i don't have any kind of mods installed. I tried cleaning the cache and all those other support tools over the launch menu before starting the game. What should i do about this?

If your game is completely unmodified, and that is happening, you might want to try a clean install.

 

Would i need to reconfig my joystick settings? Or they'll save if i reinstall the game?

 

I think you'd need to reconfigure them, as this type of reinstall is like replicating if you just bought the game for the first time, instead of just regularly reinstalling it

 

I performed a clean install on the game files, turns out it was an issue with the user folder someway. Thanks for the help man.

By the way, is there a way i can contact the developers for give them the advice of what happened?
