When I load a material in the editor and the material is missing its texture, it usually takes 10-30 seconds to load; now it just hangs indefinitely. The no-texture lag was annoying, but I don't blame you guys for core-Touque 3D problems like that.

Edit: I left the hanging process to run for a while, maybe 5 minutes and when I went back to it, the material did load in the editor and on the object it was assigned to. I did also add the missing texture its directory while the editor was still running, that may be why it un-froze.

    Yes, that's currently know.
Your best bet is fixing the material manually, by adjusting the materials.cs file, so that the texture is either shown properly or not specified at all.

Thanks, yep that's what I usually do. Sometimes I peek in the editor for bebugging material.cs errors, but its a bad habit and works better fixing the files in Notepad++.

The material editor has never worked properly for as long as I can remember, it puts the paths in wrong, and sometimes crashes out right. The textures will appear to work and then will not work upon reload.
The shape editor doesn't work either, do not go near that at ALL without saving first!!! That's been broken since 0.6 or 0.7.
Deleting a decal road crashes the editor (detailed below).
Moving around too much crashes the editor.
Still getting the multi-selection bug but it's rarer now. It is NOT fixed 100%.
Crashes on importing complex meshes that worked fine in 0.10 (not by me, not from Sketchup either).
Driving around after editing for 3 hours & saving & closing the editor crashes the game.
None is related to RAM amounts, I have always had 3~4GB free if not 8gb FREE.
Scrollvisible errors are coming up all over the editor (the log says that).

Had to cancel my updates to all my mods, in fact, pulling all my mods around Spring-time (60 days from now) because I can't support them anymore with updates (unless the situation changes). Literally crashed the first second I did anything!
@Nadeox1 you're awesome as is @meywue and @synsol (and a few other guys I talked to from the team), but this is not directed at you or them, I would have just much rather waited to have a working editor for a game I love.
I can't parse any info from the log, otherwise I'd try to work around the crashes. With no info, I'm stuck!
Crashes on me when I try to delete a 2-point decal road by deleting one of the points.
New file format is surely nice when you have multiple people working on one map (yes, 100% understand), but it's a bear to work with here. Those super-long-lines of code might be nice to copy-paste, but they're a bear to manually skim through (these things I am fine with, with a WORKING EDITOR; but when I have to manually do things to fix stuff, it is a little tough).
The base game will sell and has sold plenty of copies, however, good mods are the best salesmen you can ever ask for, and often are done for-free.
I want to do so much with this game, and have the time and drive to make the best map editor, but without the tools to properly do it, my hands are tied. I hope someone decides to fix the broken things, or remove them entirely, before adding anything new. If you add more things on top of broken things, you will have LOTS of broken things in due time, and that's where this is going.
