Hey guys, got a car I'm working on. I've set the material file up correctly, the same as vanilla ones are, but every material on the car appears grey or white. This includes some vanilla textures I borrowed. The interior of the car is supposed to have a carpeted texture, the dash is from the pessima so should work as well. Any ideas? Is it something to do with the export from blender? Cheers
im having a similar problem with terrain textures. the game will not read the directory for the diffuse map.
Oh right, so it's the diffuse map thats not showing... I'll take another look at mine and see if I can shed some light --- Post updated --- acc another thing, I've noticed that even if I delete the "main.materials.json" it still shows the same grey/white texture instead of the orange "no material" texture...
im still using a materials.cs. I couldnt get any of my terrains to work with a main.materials.json. Now all but 1 works. thats suppsed to be yellow
hmm, I've jsut tried putting just one material into the c# format and it's the exact same again, it's almost as if the games defaulting everything to a generic material? --- Post updated --- and thats with all the other materials removed aswell
but why isnt it reading it. i have the correct directory and overlay_yellowdirt.dds is in there. no reason it shouldnt be working if my 11 others are
