Menu car in game very slow

So, menu car is very slow in game, my fps during the game is 70+, but the menu get slow.

The UI has always been very slow. There isn't really any workarounds for this as it happens to everyone.

 

Using multiple mods can drastically slow down the UI, try using as little mods as possible.

 

My pc is quite slow ingame (i don't go above 35-40fps) i slow down the game when i use the menus (alt+arrows keys), the UI feels less laggy when slowing down the game (in my opinion)

 

another trick is, when you;'re modifying a car in the ctrl+W menu, you can pause the physics (with J), then select all the parts you want, then unpause it.
