On October 5th, 2014, an 87-car Union Pacific freight train departed Houston, Texas. There were 2 locomotives at the front of the train: a Norfolk southern locomotive NS 9939, and a Union Pacific locomotive UP 6387. The train entered Mer rouge, LA at 1:09 pm. at the same time a flatbed truck was crossing the train tracks but got stuck when crossing them. the train sees the truck, then a family in a pickup truck record the what's about to happen. the train hits the truck's trailer and derails, both locomotives and 13 train cars derailed. NS 9939 had been destroyed, but UP 6387 had just rear-end damage. the trucker got out and survived, but both of the train employees had been critically wounded. homes were later evacuated, but the trains tankers were actually leaking argon. so, it was safe to head home. NS 9939 was later scrapped after the accident, but UP 6387 was repaired. in the end, the truck company was forced to pay for cleanup and damage.

This actually really interesting! I liked how the video was remade, and it mustve taken a while to get that many train cars on one train. The details are all there, and very explicit. Keep up your recreations!
