I have imported a vehicle from Blender 2.8. When the spawned vehicle moves, the mesh (vehicle body) stays behind. I have created beams to connect the mesh to the chassis, but without any relevant documentation, I'm not sure of the right approach. I have tried reverse engineering multiple vehicles but it is impossible to see the nodes and beam connection in debug mode.

    Any help is appreciated.

My only guess is you forgot to apply modifiers such as location, rotation, and scale before exporting the mesh. Do crtl a, and check all the boxes.

Thanks for the reply. I tried that but it didn't help. Is there a workflow or instructions for exporting vehicles from Blender 2.8?

Make sure the origin of your object is at 0,0,0 (and you must also apply all the scale and rotation)
