No need to be so mean. There is definitely much room for improvement in Lettice's designs, but that is criticism is not constructive in any way. If you want my advice, make the headlights on the cars bigger, and spread them out more; your cars seem to have all the fixtures concentrated on a small part of the frontal area rather than the whole thing. Compare these two, for example: The second car is a mazda 3. You will notice the headlights are quite big and placed at the edges of the car's front, when compared to your design. Also, the grille and general design needs to "flow" with the lines of the body style that you choose; the red car for example has soft edges and a modern design so a small square grille will not fit very well. Overall I'd advise you to look at pictures of real cars and try to follow those designs, you could improve quite a lot that way
My litle advice, 1.You should find a refrence car, look for car picts on the net, find a or 2+ cars that you prefer,a simlar car type like a m3 and a Evo , not a mix of Pagani and a f150, 2. Put more efforts, by put more vente, light, a more detail, not just light and a grile, 3.try mix the parts, you can make a tons of diferent parts be mix these fixtures 4. Make some prototype/concept before make the final ones(skecthing on book is HIGHLY reconended) 5.TRY NEW THINGS, try different styles, mix different fixtures, make different body style, do wiered tunes,try mods, find a UNIQUE style, and keep learning 6. Keep learning, keep tryinf, and learn from your and others fault 7.most importhant, its all about your imagination and your pasion, as i see skill is not really affect the desigin, the only thing IMPACT The desigin is your CREATIVITY, When PLAYING WITH FIXTURES,MIX them thats not hurt to try My early desigin its also ugly, dont give up now, you got a good computer, everyone has tons of potential Thats it, thats all i have,i hope its helpfull REMEMBER TRY NEW THINGS Just in 1-3 months you will see the difference Okay.
