    Hello
I am making a thread to post progress and gain support and information.
This is my first time ever messing with beamng modding and so far it's a bit confusing.
I've went the meshslap method as far as learning currently.

    What I have done

-renamed parts for mesh to appear in game-
-removed unused slots and parts -

What I want to do next

    (FIXED)
-Fix why headlight lens aren't appearing (you can see in picture of setup and arrangements)-

    (need information)
-The shifter and gas pedal arent appearing- "origin points are set as props" (is this due to misinformed jbmean as its just meshslap currently?)
The ebrake, Brake pedal, and steering wheel is showing.

    UPDATE 6/5/24 10:05am
    -
I now know I need to retexture the uv map for the model i am using, if i replace the textures with the ones I create for the uv map of my model but replace them with the same names as the ones I am replacing do I need to edit the materials file for it to see them since they are the same name etc.

    -
on the engine, suspension, frame, radiator is it possible to load these items in with my model and scale and oreintent them to fit my model and use the blender jbeam editor in blender with this same idea in mind?

"I make mods for Liveforspeed currently, so my blender knowledge is pretty well rounded, though my jbeam is that of someone who has been studying it for a few months"

    UPDATE
    - solved headlight lens not showing up-

I also cleared all materials and slowly started to pile in some materials
-does it appear this way because it needs uv-wrapped?

Hey, nice to see a S-10 mod coming about.
I don't know if your interested but I have a long bed and a later GMC variant of this same model. They are edits of this model.
I would love to see this in its completed form.
I also have some 4x4 wheels from the later model years

Hey man, I would love to do a sonoma version but that's way down the list but i'll keep you in mind.
Currently I am just working on getting a single vehicle working then I can start working on other things.
it's gonna be a long process I know already.

It is completely overwhelming for me.

so i've modified the jbeam and the frame but how do i get it to show in game, in blender using jbeam editor. ( i saved the pickup_common.dae my version and my suspension_F.jbeam in the same unpacked file location as my vehicle) it still picks up the frame and suspension which is to large from the common files (using d series pick up as a base)
