Missing File Privileges Console.x64.exe

upon the recent update i came across this probem which i cant find anything about...

please help!

 

launch windows in safe mode and delete everything from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\downloading

 

i will try that and let you know how i get on

just tried it and its the same error missing privilege

 

Verify the integrity of local files, see if that does anything. (go to Library, right click BeamNG, click properties, and then go to local files and choose the bottom one)

Have you tried uninstalling it? It's really unfortunate to have this error on your first day here, welcome to the fourms!

 

this is the file location where the missing file privileges are and the console.x64.exe isnt there??

ive had the game for awhile ive invested over 150 hours on it ive uninstalled steam resintalled it and even tried on a different HDD

 

Odd, many things are missing.

 

in compparison this is the bin32 folder

 

like literally, delete every single file out of downloading

deleted everything in the downloading folder and still getting the missing file privilege error -_-

slowly giving up on fixing this game, which is a shame becuase its my favourite game :'(

as i said before ive had this game for afew years and have played over 150 hours i was playing it the day before the new update on the same pc with no issues

 

just try not to play the game for the rest of the day. I had a problem and just didn't get back on. next day everything was fine.

 

il leave it until monday and let you know the outcome if not il give up on fixing the game unless a DEV wants to help

 

go to beamng x64 EG Z:/users/Frost/games/BeamNG.drive v0.12/Bin64/BeamNG.drive.x64.exe

click run trouble shooter it should fix any compatabillity errors, then give youre sell full controll

So your error has NOTHING to do with the game. Search on google (or whatever else) for a fix. Also, look at the thread that the message is from, you may find more info about your problem, or a fix.

ive tried googling the problem and cant find anything online about the console.x64.exe not being in the folder. especially as ive played for so many hours
