i dont know if this has already been suggested sorry in advance if it has

if for example you are going somewhere and dont have a laptop, would it be possible
to stream the game display to the mobile device over something like wifi

it could use the same app as the remote control app but also show the display.

And if you don't have a laptop, from where it would stream the game?

That is not something that is going to happen probably.
You would need a very solid & fast connection on both PC and Mobile. And then there would be all the problems related to this, like reducing latency and video lag to minimum, etc.

There are services for game streaming, like Nvidia GameStream thing, but they have a much more advanced system that can handle that (Super computers, complex networking, etc)
Would be cool sure, but that's not doable/feasible for a small team/gamedev (not other game I know ever did something like this).

I've done it myself - using the Gamestream driver, and the Moonlight app for android. It works great, actually. Fairly low latency, good onscreen controller, and good stream quality.

All you have to do is add BeamNG to the list of streamable games, couple the Moonlight app on your phone to Gamestream, and launch BeamNG. You can also stream other applications.
