I'm working on a beamNG mod.
Lately after an update the problem came up, that I need to restart the game in order to see what changes have been made to the mod. As a result tweaking values in the .jbeam gets very inconveniant.
Is there an easy way out?
    Thanks.

.Jbeam changes always gets updated on vehicle reload (CTRL+R).
That has been always the same.

Jbeam file changes work fine, however in the 0.11.0.5 update the auto file reloader introduced in 0.11 seems to be very hit and miss, mainly with image files (editing a skin).

    Noted, we will be checking.
(Noticed that too sometimes, in particular with texture files and meshes)

i believe if you change vehicles, then press ctrl+L, then reload the vehicle it should make jbeam modifications that were not previously present.
as for textures, you'd probably have to change cars and clear cache manually, press ctrl+L, and reload.

    CTRL+L reloads LUA.
For Jbeam changes, it's the good old CTRL+R like always.

If it is vehicle's materials.cs that you change, then it probably does not reload with CTRL-R, you need to exit the map and load map again to see changes to that.

Materials.cs also gets reloaded (most of the times, in some particular cases not) when reloading a vehicle (CTRL+R)

For me 70% of times not, just guess how many hours I fought with simple materials setting and all I see is no texture, everything was fine though, just needed to reload the map.

It should be noted that this was materials.cs in subfolder of vehicle folder and for part for semi, it might work better with original mod and materials.cs in root folder of vehicle.
