Does making a fresh, empty new "mods" folder in Documents/BeamNG not work? Try making a new, empty mods folder -> launching beam -> and then placing all your mods into the new folder and re-launching.
You can also try cache clearing and all that jazz. :p

Also, repo mods that get updated are moved to Documents\BeamNG.drive\mods\repo
It should just work as previously

Are you using the correct folder?
Can you take a screenshot of the 'mods' folder, that shows both the full path of the folder, and its content, like this:

    Eh?
The game always used that folder.
Please take that screenshot on whatever folder you are using, so we can see which one it is.

Why do you have a folder named mods in the folder "mods"? plus how is there no repo or unpacked folders

Are you not using any version of 0.11?

So you're using a pirated version of the game?

Desktop > BeamNG.drive is not a game folder, that's why it's not working (and I doubt it ever worked, unless you modified the userfolder path, which you haven't mentioned/specified)
You must be using the correct default folder, which is in Documents/BeamNG.drive.
Move your mods in the 'mods' folder.

If you need, here's full tutorial (and a video-tutorial as well):

If you can, please update the title to "solved" so the mod support folks know your problem has been resolved and others with similar issues know a solution is available. :)
