Mods Not Going into Game

    I bought this game and I want to start modding. I figured out how to do so. I download the vehicle that I want. My computer puts them into a commpressed (zipped) folder. I open this folder and copy the inner folder of the vehicle. I paste that into my vehicle folder, but when I go into the game the car isn't on the list of cars. Same with levels, just dont show up. PLEASE HELP. IS THERE SOMETHING THAT I AM DOING WRONG?????
