That's to be expected because of the new update and if the mods modify existing files then they are a lot more prone to being broken by updates.

You wait for the mods creators to update their mods. If the mods are no longer in development, you stop using them or learn how to make mods yourself and fix them.

Most old mods should still work, you have to put it in a .zip folder for the game to read it now.

Before this update you had to unpack the .zip, look in your downloads history for the mod files, 90% of the time they're in a .zip file.

All of my mods still work, including sound mods. I use MANY of them. And all of them work just fine. Just deleted cache before launching the game for the first time.

The only thing we changed mod wise in the latest update is how UNZIPPED/EXTRACTED mods works.
If you have missing mods, then it's probably because those where what I said above.
We wrote how to use them in the changelog.

ANYWAY, you don't have to use unpacked mods, there is no reason to use them.
Just keep all your mods as ZIP and drop them in Documents/BeamNG.Drive/mod
