now I have a dilemma with the bodywork I dont like the groove on the plastic trim but I know what I can do in the meantime... hubcaps and wheels (thanks legran)
I have an idea.. this current nosejob I have I will save it for the spicy trims and come up with a more stately nosejob for the rest of versions --- Post updated --- for the stately nosejob Iwas thinking the Buick regal this an 82 example, notice the blended bumpers https://cdn.dealeraccelerate.com/flemings/1/399/3508/790x1024/1982-buick-regal
that could work but i feel like if the front was a cube and then the back was all fancy looking it would look like you glued two cars together
*welds a turbo to the factory inline 6* on a more seriousl note I will not JUST transplant a Buick regal Face onto a moonhwak, it would probably not look right --- Post updated --- wheels!
i'm not sure if you've considered this, but a lot of american cars in the late-70s had really boxy rooflines (and sometimes vinyl tops), like this '76 buick riviera. even if you don't do the vinyl top, are you planning on squaring off the roof?
for the time being? no --- Post updated --- another development, I found out that I can make an engine more economical with an intake swap so the original 244 cui inline 6 is getting EFI and Turbo, the original V8 as well (but I willbe using modifified old gavril meshes for the engine
the firebird actually did have an option for a vinyl roof but it seems like only earlier models and seems super rare anyways (or most with the vinyl had them torn off)

Honestly I'm kind of surprised you aren't just taking a modified version of the LeGran's fascia and applying it to the Moonhawk. I'm glad you're not, because it makes this feel a little more unique, but I'm still surprised.
i plan to cover up the indicators with much larger rectangular ones --- Post updated --- I was just looking at the body lines the moonhawk has and went from there. I am not keen on a sloppy face transplant. --- Post updated --- next thing to do.. new bumpers
I received some constructive criticism on my new grill and I decided tokmake it wider --- Post updated --- and here it is!
