I'm thinking about purchasing the 74cc Gilardoni kit from Treatland for my '78 (?) Puch Maxi. It has the E50 engine, and I'll be bolting on some extra goodies with it as well (15mm carb, filter, racing rod/crank, etc.). My goal is to unlock more top end power, but keep it street-able, which is why I'd like to displacement by 25cc, to keep some extra torque down low.

I've heard really good things about this kit, the only real complaint is the cost, which I'm willing to overlook. I was wondering if anybody here has any experience with it before I make my final decision?
