More Exhaust Smoke?

Is there a way to edit how much smoke comes out of the diesel exhaust? I've been watching a few "runaway diesel" compilations and I'd love to take a few BeamNG pictures of the T-Series having a runaway problem or 2.

go into the engine .jbeam and increase the particulates value

 

Sorry to ask but, how do you do that?

 

Go into the game files, find the jbeam file of your vehicle, for example pessima_engine.jbeam and you change the particulates value

 

Hi, i do this but i don´t see any differences. It´s simply edit the file and save or you have to do something more? I´m changing the values and saving the .zip file but i can´t see any differences.
