More FPS

I got about 10-15FPS with one and/or two cars. I put all Graphics at lowest but Game lags alot. It wasn?t Lagging in the techdemo. Its a great game but i hope you can help me that this wont lagg anymore... and yes i have a Toaster: AMD Dual-Core 2,80Ghz, GeForce 210 1GB, 32bit, 3GB Ram

 

Are you using the same content in the alpha compared to the tech demo?

 

Yes. Just put all to lowest. But i get the same FPS like in the Techdemo. But it laggs.

 

Have you tried turning of SSAO in the Post FX menu?

 

That computer can't do any better. Slow CPU and slow GPU. Even a single car is too much for that CPU.

 

I can handle two cars in the techdemo without lagging. In the Full-Game i cant even handle one because i get some laggs about all 5-10 seconds.

 

Well, try the same cars in the same map as the tech demo. If it lags severely unlike the tech demo then maybe try reinstalling? Then overclocking. (Also, make sure your settings are the same as in the demo)

 

the tech demo is set in the grid map, that map doesn't require much.

 

LOL! my computer is fast then 25 fps with SIX cars.

It's not possible to spawn 2 cars in the techdemo. Or is it?

 

I'm still getting around 20-25 FPS no matter what. I've a i7 3770, GTX 660 and 16GB. Screen setting to 1600x..., no SSAO, shadows on low and everything else on normal settings. Some crashes lower the FPS to 15 or so but 5 moving cars won't change my FPS. Just can't get above 25 or so.

 

What the hell?..

I have an old Q6600 no overcock, with 4GB RAM (old DDR2), and a GTX 660 (3GB) and get the same FPS with same settings (Normal). You should get a lot more than me!?!?.

EDIT: Oh and my res maybe why, I'm on 1920x1080?. I also have no SSAO.

 

Im using a Macbook Pro with windows 7 - i7 2.2Ghz, 1gb 6750m, 16Gb DDR3 RAM. I'm getting less than desirable performance.

To me it seems the cars are causing the problem, using the Gavril box van in standard form i get 20-25fps, if i strip all the parts off of it using the editor i get 50+ fps.

im change the nvidia 210 gt for 640 gt 2 gddr3

the nvidia 210 only have 16 cores cuda..... its a ( sh..t of graffic card) really. for games.

im can play saint row 3 crisys 2 with 210 1 gb but not good in ror in beamng and games with much resources.

im buyed asus gt640 2 gb ddr3 with 387 cuda cores and 901 mhz clock and play all games with 40 50 fps full graphics.

and only cost 85 ? 5 months ago.

try to buy a another card mate, 40 ? 60 ? or if you can 90 ? can get a good nvidia with much cores and quality.


search nividia 540 550 650 . models in spain i see the 560 ti in 140 ? only buy on amazon =)


And try to buy quad core amd athlon x2 450 box. only cost 65 ? i have it and its awersome technology and very strong

4 cores at 3.20 ghz ( with overclock without problems 3.7ghz and 4 gb ddr3 and 640gt nvidia

and my game runs 50 fps 40 3-35 with 4 cars

 

the thing is, that drive doesn't really require an awesome GFX, CPU is what really matters. 4 threads is minimum to run this smoothly i guess

 

I'd suggest getting a recent Intel CPU for BeamNG because AMD isn't as optimised for it.
