I wouldn't be surprised if there was a restaurant somewhere that that will fry anything just for the hell of it somewhere on the mainland. (I'm in Hawaii)
I'm almost certain that you could find that restaurant in Hawaii if you looked hard enough, and maybe slipped a few Benjamins Washingtons to the cook. After all, it is the state with the highes per-capita SPAM consumption. As for the most American thing I can think of, it would probably be cheap milk. The US dairy industry has been increasingly deregulated since the eighties, and the result is a milk chock full of strange chemical-related acronyms that costs half as much as it does north of the border. Oh, and wider selection at Walmarts. A Canadian Walmart doesn't have half of the stuff you can find at a U.S. Walmart (and when you can find it, it costs more!)
