mouse/controller-looking on orbit cam is a bit weird

I will try to explain this as best as I can. Whenever I click on the joystick on my xbox controller, while normally it should kinda glide over to the original view, it now sort of teleports to the original view, also when using the mouse to look around the sensitivity is much higher so the camera goes all over the place when I try to look around. On safe mode it works normally but I don't remember installing a mod that might cause this since it just started happening when I just casually started the game
