I thinking of something since there isnt mud deformation.. Maybe mud resistance? Its way to easy to fly by in the deep mud. There isnt really toughness to it. So anyway or idea to make it hard to drive through?
I've made a thread asking for the same thing but said it in another way. I think that the mud in BeamNG is too sticky and has too much resistance, when really it should be made where the wheels have less traction and spin, but still have a way for the car to slow down and slowly start to bog down as your dirve over it (depending on how deep it is / unstable it is). Your wheels don't get gain traction and get so sticky where to the point the engine can't move the wheels when you're in mud now does it? I got a reply from a dev and Nadeox (rip if incorrect spelling) and they said that they were testing something like this, something about 'fluids'?
The current version of the game has already that. If you drive over mud at a moderate speed, you will have no issue, but if you slowdown or stop, you can will start sinking into it. Same for sand.
I knew I felt a difference! but I still think that the car is slowing down too quickly and the wheels still spin slowly when in mud, but you are able to get out of it easier (Note that I could be incorrect as my testing is about 2 - 3 weeks old, I'll test it again once I get home) but its heading in the right direction.
Any idea if work with airbox and airfilter is going to be there soon.... I always sink my truck jumping into the mud
