Multiplayer?

    I was wondering, is there Any source of Multiplayer in BeamNG Drive?
    Because this game would be awesome with Multiplayer!

    Races, crashing into eachother etc.
    Just Reply if you think it would be awesome/if there is a Multiplayer Option

    They are working on multiplayer, but they said that they aren't really focused on it
    at the minute, So yea there will be some time in the future that there will be
    multiplayer.

    They could just have LAN multiplayer then we can all use something like Hamachi to play WAN.

    I think they should make official multiplayer with all the stuff like races, events and police chases.

    They will, but they are working hard at this moment to push the race update which is a huge update of almost everything in the game, that means re-writing most of the code, etc etc.

    I've always assumed the race update would include multiplayer, because if you're going to have races you must be racing other players, right? Or are they adding AI?

    No multiplayer for sure. But they said we'd have online leaderboards for each map/car, so in a way it is racing, not against them physically but against their time. I'm really looking forward for those leaderboards.

    Ah ok, I was really looking forward to smashing each other up in multiplayer demo derbies etc :( but it'll be worth the wait when they do add it I'm sure

    Multiplayer is planned. You just have to wait for it. And trust me, The wait will be worth it.

    Not really... there are only a few threads asking for slidenodes.. which would be a more fundamental part of the game than multiplayer.

    anyone actually tried connecting?

    just looking through this http://docs.garagegames.com/torque-...umentation/Scripting/Advanced/Networking.html
    typing this into console doesnt give any errors or anything, looks like it would work...

    im sure there is a simple way to avoid sending huge amounts of data, client approximation
