For a long time, petrol heads have been arguing which is better; muscle or imports. So I choose a base model 94 Ibishu Covet and a Bruckell Alauda with stock 350 and 3-speed. Part one is a Driven Till Destruction Challenge (Inspired by FailRace) where the car that can survive the longest around Bajarama, wins the first point. We continue the battle of Muscle Vs Import, in part 2, starting with a drag race down Car Jump Arena, then a Demolition Derby, and a hot lap around Lime Rock Park.
Don't get me wrong. Muscles are cool in drag, but if you wanna race, imports are lighter and more agile.
Both types of cars have their merits. There's no such thing as a supreme winner in the muscle vs import argument, they both have strengths and weaknesses.
Agreed. It's not "Which car for this guy" It's "Which Guy for this Car" It depends on the person, not the car.
Muscle for life. Just look at these beauties. I know I know. The Mustang is a pony car..BUT! It still counts. c:
Good looking... But imports are usually from the 80's onward and were made when america was still suffering from restrictions... Imports are better in the technological sense.
I would never chose import when i can love el caminos,cmaros,foxbodies,charger/challengers,super bees, chevelles, mustangs Etc. They are just too beautiful for me not to choose them.God bless America <3
But which would last longer and be more practical and be in a technological sense better? Imports. Imports can be drag cars, or practical every-dayers.
If you really need daily driver, then you should get shelby gt350r which is good for drag and track. And don't worry, upcoming corvette zr1 will replace Gt-r r35 in future.
I never said I was dising Mustangs and corvettes. I like both Muscles and Imports. I just think imports make more sense. --- Post updated --- Plus imports are lighter.
I don't think you understand what a daily driver is supposed to do. It needs to be fuel efficient, reliable, space efficient and practical. The GT350R is none of these things. If you want a daily car get a dodge neon or a toyota corolla.
It's kinda crazy that the civic has such a huge problem with mods in the USA. It's very easy to get a clean, stock civic of any generation here in europe, but it seems like in the states it's become the spankerchief for every dribbling Fast and Furious ricerboy's wet dream.
