Want more maps?

• Make sure to look at all the maps created by @Ouerbacker. They are some of the most beautiful maps ever created for BeamNG.drive. However, due to age, these maps they have been 'broken' by updates. As far as I know there is no major issues with them, but keep in mind errors may occur in the background potentially reducing game performance. Despite this I recommend taking a look at his maps, as long as you don't mind a few background errors.

• Do you have a beefy PC? If so you should check out the maps created by @bob.blunderton. His maps are absolutely MASSIVE, and I guarantee you will have countless hours of fun exploring them. However, their sheer size comes at a price... performance. If your PC can handle it, I definitely recommend downloading these maps Bob has created. I know for a fact he has poured literally thousands of hours into them, so if you enjoy them be sure to leave him a kind review

I am aware I have missed some mods out so feel free to comment below, and I will add them to the original post

Feel free to (politely) challenge any of my decisions (with reasons) as my opinions do not necessarily reflect those of other community members

The maps by Ouerbacker have many errors in the background due to being broken by updates, should I still add them?

Tfw you can't find VR_City for the longest time because you never put in the underscore.

One mod I suggest is the Herbie mod, or Volkswagen Beetle mod. (Same one)

I also thing both Dansworth buses deserve a spot.

 

Underscore is there and it is linked... I don't see any issues?

I completely forgot to add Herbie, I'll do it in a second.

I'll test to make sure the busses both work and then add them.

Also, the Mark IV should be here.

And Maaaaybe the Farming Pack just because farm.

I'd think the Sport Bike should be here because it's the only working bike (I believe, haven't used it in a while) still on the forums.

i must check because last time i played at black hills and green valley, they worked fine. But i can understand also they don't figure here, they are personal favorites

 

Check the error log thingy (~) and let me know if there are any errors. It may just be conflicts on my end

Issues:
All mods by Darren9 (incl. Sport Bike and DH Outlaw) appear to be missing, anyone know why?

 

It says he was banned. No idea why.

 

Very strange, I also thought your mods stayed up even if you get banned?

Also, didnt know Canyon of Speed was broken, using it more or less daily.

 

In the error log thing (forgot what its actually called) I believe there is an error fest in the background. Some textures are also very flickery. Let me know if this is just an issue on my end

 

I feel like you're being a bit too picky with the maps with errors really, the casual player probably doesn't care that much that there's some errors in the background that most people will never see, and it shouldn't take away from the fact that they're awesome maps. Ones like Canyon of Speed, Polish roads and Green Valley really deserve to be up there as they're still some of the best maps the community has made IMO, and some erross shouldn't really take that away. Yellav Valley is another good one and I use it lots along with but I don't see too much sadly, along with literally everything else made by Ouerbacker (I realise this as I was typing everything that I could think of was by him so I'd recommend checking out his stuff regardless of errors. The Ibishu Dove by mike94 is another good one, the AN-12B by Dummiesman is another amazing plane mod, The Fait One is another great car to have, The Ibishu Kashira is a decent mod and looks like it'll be getting even better soon(ish), and the GL83 is really underrated for what it is, haven't used it in a while though so I don't know if it still works fine as of 0.14
Beam Mountains and the Gavril Vendetta by Driv3r1142 are great mods too. I'd also say Garfield Heights is a must-have despite the unfinished nature of it as there's easily enough content there as it is and there isn't really anything else like it availible at the moment.
Sorry for rambling, this came out as a lot longer than I expected.
Linking the top rated and most downloaded mods for the repo might also be a good idea in case anyone wants to find some more stuff themselves.

I do 100% agree with your points, however this thread is targeted at new players and I don't want them to complain about errors/unfinished maps. At the bottom of the page I will link @Ouerbacker's profile and provide an error warning and a will also link @bob.blunderton's profile and provide a performance warning. I will also have a look at the other vehicles you mentioned too.

Feel free to let me know if you disagree. I want this thread to be shaped by the whole community, whilst also ensuring new players aren't downloading content with issues that may affect the performance of their game.

Something to consider with the list are conflict/issue probability, especially annoying if new player gets problems from mods of the list and every mod of the list should work together, imo.

Sadly it means some nice mods might not be on list, but I think that is important.
