So I made myself an Assetto Corsa server. And I want to see if anyone can join. OK, so the server name is; The AC Racers No DLC I have the dlc server but most of my audience does not. if you guys want the server with dlc we can put it to a vote. And the password is; BaconIsTheBest Please feel free to join whenever I'll be on there but probably not racing. Thanks so much! I hope the server will turn out well. After some testing with some cars. I've gathered the info that surprisingly, it runs quite well. And all over the world at that.
Re: My Assetto Corsa Server! Cool. I host a server consistently, but it's just for LAN purposes whenever I want to play with friends. Hope you've got a dedicated PC if you want to keep the server up for a while, since it might be a resource hog on your main PC. I might try it sometime later if it's still up.

OR you could go to Vilayer.com and buy yourself an Assetto Corsa server, I've owned many servers from them and I've NEVER had and issue with them, their support team is surprisingly fast (24h or less) and you have full access over the server, even the core files. I currently run a JC2 serer from them for just $4.80 a month and it supports 20 players, I saw AC on there last night for a nice deal, It'll be cheaper and easier to host it on their servers compared to your own internet, computer and power bills
Re: My Assetto Corsa Server! I would honestly never pay for any kind of game server when I can just run it myself on a dedicated PC. I take pride in having a server of my own that I can mess with and configure however I want. I can give any of my servers 20,000 slots and 30 GB of RAM without paying anything. I also really doubt that it's cheaper than your internet/power bills, since you're already paying for those without a server.

But what if you don't have a spare computer? what if you live in Aussie Land where prices are as high as the moon for power, what if your internet speeds are garbage like mine? which takes around 10 minutes to upload 5mb? and what if you decide to make a dedicated server box? you'd have to have a good CPU and lots of RAM, and if you live in Aussie Land (Where it's as expensive to build a computer as to buy one) that'd be over $300 easily. Compared to where you can get a 10 slot server for just $5 a month in NZ. or $63 a year. I'd understand if you have a good network and cash to spend on a geat serverbox and that will be long term (like over a year or two) Then get a serverbox, but having one here in Aussie Land is bloody impossible, consumer networks aren't good enough to host a server, I tried hosting a Terraria server and my 2 freinds were lagging to the max, and my internet is faster than 82% of the country... Do you get where I'm coming from?
