Hey Guys, i don't know if this could interest you, but this week i'm beginning something i wanted to do since a long time, but didn't had time or energy to do because other stuff like mods. As my real life job is illustrator, i will do as a practice and improvment of my porfolio some images based on action situation captured in the game. And i'll present to you as a Wip, with some making of images untill it's done. Today i'm beginning with my favorite comics character, The Hulk, destroying a police Caprice. First i did a very quick sketch of the situation. Then i've thrown a Police Caprice into a wall and used the node grabber and pause to catch my desired point of view for the car and the environment. And then a quick assembly of the project : Of course purpose is not to just trace the car, but thinking how difficult it is to draw a car in such an action situation, and just like we can use some articulated dolls or 3D softwares like poser to get realistic characters positions, i always thought that this game was a powerfull tool for action images, for car lovers illustrators. Now the serious work is being done, the detailled pencil version. original quick sketch was done on paper but now i work on my Cintiq 22HD tablet and photoshop. Finished pieces will be added here for better visibility :
We'll see that for another drawing if you want You could be superman or alike ? Hulk is a very non human guy, his hand are bigger than his head. I know it because i saw him for real Some shades of grey to think about future lightnings preliminary color testing, before doing the cleaner inked drawing: Working on the inking and cleaning :
It's just a drawing you know. Had the King Kong plane's pilots a family ? The Hulk is some kind of savage animal, and defends himself when attacked.
Can you guys (and everyone else), please just appreciate this impressive artwork by a really talented community member? He is sharing this work and all you guys can do is ask infantile and off topic questions. I am not here to read infantile and off-topic questions. This isn't a pre-school coloring book kids.
What if that car had a family? Little Caprices will have to grow up without their father and might become criminals who rob other cars for fuel and parts... 1 like = 1 prayer
I'm a bit sick today but i found some time to go on with this piece. It's almost done, some colors to finish (policeman, lightbar...) but now i can spend some time on details like more debris and smoke, coolant vapor, and so on.
i don't know, i havn't finished this one and i'm very sick today. I have to think about it, imagine situations and the way to paint them. This one is some kind of training sketch, to see what can be done and how to do it, but for the next one i'm willing to do something more painted eventually.
The policeman is blue because it's not finished in the current published version Also, for me, he's still alive, he's still holding the steering wheel and he will be ok. This is hollywood dudes, where people can jump from blocks to blocks of a collapsing street while an earthquake, without being injured.
