MY BEAMNG DRIVE WONT DOWNLOAD HELP!

I just bought BeamNG Drive for 15 dollars and I want to enjoy it but It wont install corectly I have tried everything but it wont work it will say that it is missing a file or a fatal error.
I have reintstalled everything over 5 times it just wont work... Help please!

I have figured out what was wrong and installed it.

 

I think I have the same problem, it'll download everything but then it'll give a fatal error stating that it couldn't download the version.txt and couldn't resolve the host name.

 

How did you fix it. Can you tell me please. I have the same problem. Please help me!?!????

 

Please tell us what was wrong so other people can also enjoy the game. i have been trying to install the game for 3 hours with no success

 

2 things I have seen as regular causes. Admin mode and firewalls.

Right click the updater, select run as admin (you will need the admin password of course, no problem if its your own machine), that fixed it on my machine. Someone else had an issue I think with avast antivirus, had to shut down their antivirus to install BeamNG (probably the firewall blocking executable files more than anything else).

 

Its been a while but I think you have to change the updater file name from Update.exe to just update or the same with the install file sorry it took me a while!
