My cars keep having a "Fatal error" when loading.

    Everyone is experiencing this problem. @Nadeox1 says it is the dct transmission. It has been reported several times and it is in the process of being fixed

    No, it does not happen on all cars, and not always.
    It will randomly happen on some DCT vehicles (1 time on 6, or so).


    OP, are you usings mods?
    Have you tried Clear Cache + Safe Mode yet?

    Sounds like broken install. Clean reinstall.
    1. Unistall BeamNG from Steam
    2. Delete BeamNG.Drive folder from MyDocuments (Backup your mods if you want, but do not put them back until you are sure the game is working fine)
    3. Delete BeamNG.Drive folder from Steam/Steamapp/common (If there is still a folder)
    4. Reinstall BeamNG

    I don't have such issue, game works fine, it is probably something in your installation or computer that is causing this issue because I don't see others having this issue.

    As @fufsgfen said, the game works fine also over here.
    You said you are using mods. That means you have modified files around.
    Those files could be the cause of your issue.

    Since those files could be placed anywhere, and your issue may not only be that, I advice a clean reinstall, as it's the fastest way to solve such issues.

    If your issue keeps persisting, then we can exclude modified files causing it, and try other things.
    But since modified files are the culprit in 80% of the cases, it's probably a better idea starting from that.

    Uh? That doesn't make much sense. If that was a shortcut, it would just launch the Steam version.
    Unless you have more than one version of BeamNG.Drive on your PC.

    The game works for me on a base install, and the fatal exception will only happen if you're somehow doing something wrong (corrupt game, mods, etc).

    It's worth noting that mods CAN affect stock vehicles, and that if you have mods the "but I'm using stock cars" is irrelevant.

    It's definitely something with your game/files. I run beamng on a shitty computer, I have 92 mods, some outdated but working, and I experience no problems.
