I was playing BeamNG and as I was turning the wheel rapidly to stop my car from spinning out, but then... my wheel's force feed back just stopped working, and it was harder to turn to the left than it was to the right, so I unplugged the wheel from the power, but oddly it was still stiff to turn! and now its stuck that way! I've restarted my pc many times, even plugged it into my PS3, nothing. The logo in the middle just flashes, its meant to sync the wheel up while it flashes (So goes fully left then fully right then centers up) but it doesn't do anything. Does anyone know what's up?! I use my wheel like a religion, I love and I never play racing games without it.
I think the DFGT, like the DFP, has moving mechanical stops for 200 vs 900 deg mode. Maybe the stops engaged when they shouldnt and blocked the wheel?
Maybe, I have no idea, but you'd think just resetting the wheel would fix it, I think a plug has come undone, once I find a screw driver I'll look into it.
I have experienced this exact same problem now twice, was drifting around first time and suddenly the light on the horn disappeared and wheel came stiff or how can i say it... like it wasnt connected or something... then took it to warranty and now, 3 - 4 days later this new wheel did it again... nobody should never ever buy dfgt... It seems like this fix could solve the problem, but since i got warranty left on this im gonna return it most likely
