My FPS is locked at 40 FPS (HELP!!)

    My FPS is locked at 40 FPS no matter what setting I use from lowest to ultra.
    I don't enable FPS limiter.
    Please help!

    My specs:
    Corei7-8750H @2.20GHz
    RAM 16Gb
    GTX 1060 6Gb

    Clear cache, Remove mods, reinstall game

    I don't think anyone has a 40Hz monitor.

    This looks more like some settings of the graphics card are wrong.

    another idea make sure your monitor herts is set to 60/ got to settings/display/advanced then make sure its set to 60 herts

    Hi,

    Please check if the issue persists in Safe Mode (Launcher -> Support Tools)
    Open your Nvidia drivers app and check pre-defined presets. Probably one of the is active.

    Yup, It set to 120hz as default

    Where is this setting located? I can't find it on my nvdia control panel. :(

    First of all:

    3D settings -> Manage 3D settings -> Max Frame rate
