Idk if you can post this on this forum but since this forum is where I spend most my time It would be cool to get people talking more. I just bought a white 93 Ford Mustang. It is one of my favorite looking cars of all time to me. I was wondering what rims and tires should I buy for it because right now it just has stock rims and I dislike them so much. This is what my car looks like (This isn't my car I got the pic on google) (imported from here) i want to go with probably flat black or white rims. Not some weird ricey rims either Something like these would be great but I don't think these would fit the look of the car. (imported from here) I would also possibly stretch tires over the rims and get wheel spacers. let me know what you think guys.
You almost had it. There's an Off-Topic section to post this in . That's not a bad looking car in the pic, is yours as clean as that? I have a '98 Ford Mustang GT and it has the stock rims but the guy painted it black, and it looks pretty good in my opinion.
I've never liked this style of mustang. It feels like they took a old Camry beater and slapped a ford logo on the front and called it a mustang.
I agree . There is really no good mustang from about 1975 to 1994. It took them awhile to really get it back together. I'm not gonna put his car down tough. If he likes it, it's fine with me.
I have always loved this style of Stang, congrats on getting a very sick ride. I'm not sure what kind of rims are on the car in the pic you posted but it looks sweet. I would try and make mine look as close to that one as possible if I were you. Have you considered going with the classic 5.0 rim/tire package from that gen of Stang or anything really that looks more "stock"? I think both these car's wheels look great.
I changed the year. I love mach 1's. Mustang II's were god awful though. Never been a fan of the foxbodies myself. They don't look like muscle cars at all.
I too have a foxbody mustang! Not a beast like yours probably is, but I got the old Eco Box 4cyl... It is quick for the serious lack of horsepower, but nothing like a true mustang should be. I have been thinking of upgrading to a 5.0 for quite a while. As for rims on the car, I am a more of a fleshed out wheel kinda guy. Never really liked the whole "slammed on 22"s" look. So I would say it depends on the look of your car now and the look you are going for. If you have an LX model, then I would stay with the stock rims unless you plan on stancing the car (so it would look more like a show/track car and not a drag car), which then (if you were gonna go with the black on white look) I would go with something like this http://www.americanmuscle.com/17x9-4lug-shelby-gt500-machblack.html That way you have the nice chrome rims to match the attitude of the car, the look (which is pretty awesome), and the black to offset the white car which in this more subtle approach, I like much better. If you have a GT model on the other hand, I think that you should go with something along the lines of this http://www.americanmuscle.com/black-cobrar-17x9-8793.html or some of these http://www.americanmuscle.com/black-93cobra-wheels-8793.html Both the left hand and right hand wheels are included in this link Both of these sets of wheels I feel will give you the right amount of chrome and the right amount of black to offset the white on your car and give you a real aggressive look wether you stance your car or not. However, these are only our oppinions as to what would look nice. You do whatever you think would look the best
