Ive been using Reshade for a long time although i cant say im the most experienced user in any way. Wanted to share my settings (known as Test.ini) so that if anyone like them, they can use them too.
Not certain ive got all the right files included in the .zip but if anyone want to test it out its attached below.

Im not that keen on heavy reshade such as too much Bloom or Ambilight so that it looks too much like a cozy movie, more enhancing what is there and especially the cold/warmth of the picture. If there is alot of cold colors then the whole picture turns less colorful, vice versa to bring the warmth in for example the Utah map. I have though added a few eye candy options such as dirty lens combined with bloom to give it some presence.

As most Reshade settings, this does also turn dark nights extra dark depending on the settings on the specific map. If you want it less dark then i recommend pressinf Shift+F2 ingame and untick 'Levels'. This can also be done if you dont like the strong contrast.

Unzip the zipped file into your 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\Bin64'-folder. The Reshade version is 3.0.8.183, if you want to install it the 'usual' way first.

Im using some vanilla (BeamNG) PostFx settings too, combined with Reshade, see attached pic to get an idea. NOT using ingame HDR though.

I think its mapped to the 'End' button to turn on/off.

    Example pics below.

It brings out so much more detail and depth of the textures, as well as saturation :D

sʎǝꓘ and Octothorpe Obelus, happy you both enjoy it :)

'Las Casolinas de Vapor', by Ouerbacker, dont think he has officially released it and i couldnt find it anywhere but its definitely one of my favourite ones, not the most detailed but makes for good, simple scenerys.

I made a few changes to it, if anyone wants to skip ingame DOF ive now added and configured that to the shader. Still not eye-candy settings cause i want it to be driveable although you can get nice out-of-focus screenshots with it. Also adjusted bloom settings so that things get less crazy white when the sun is at zenit, adjusted a few other filters here and there to get more color and warmth out of it, along with less darkness when its night time.

At it again, adjusted bloom, dof and some more. I see this as Type 2 although much has changed since the earlier Type 2.

More from the latest release. Kind of got a good DOF mix of eye candy/driveability. Removed Some of the saturation, dont want it to look like Forza Horizon.

Ok, Im using a combination of Reshade AO and ingame AO so ill have a look at turning ingame AO off and enhancing the Reshade AO. Might be tricky to get the shadows darker without anything else getting effected but ill give it a try.

    UPDATE:

Tried a fresh install of MXAO for Reshade, went bananas on the settings but i just cant get a setting that allows for the Reshade AO to NOT flicker on and off at certain angles, ive increased the ingame SSAO to max and it doe work well with my Reshade settings, ill try and see if i can find any solution, otherwise my recommendation is to use the ingame SSAO, ill see if i can get you my current values.

I cant get the Reshade AO to look as good as ingame AO so youll find my settings in one of the pics. Ive also increased Reshade contrast to get shadows darker, ofcourse it increases more than shadows but worked kind of good.

    Glad you both like it!

Well that last pic could be a DOF problem.. But the focus is set in the center so shouldnt be blurred at all. Did it flicker in and out of DOF/blur?
I, and others playing Beamng, had weird problems pop up when Nvidia released a new driver update, i rolled back mine, might have to do with that.

Had a look at the DOF, might sort you problem RRGL, but im not sure. It does effect a problem with the hood camera for cars with a short or very steep slooping hood (except the VW Bug cause getting that steep hood unblurred will effect the DOF too much for now) where it would blur the whole hood, now it should be better.
