Ive been using Reshade for a long time although i cant say im the most experienced user in any way. Wanted to share my settings (known as Test.ini) so that if anyone like them, they can use them too.
Not certain ive got all the right files included in the .zip but if anyone want to test it out its attached below.

Im not that keen on heavy reshade such as too much Bloom or Ambilight so that it looks too much like a cozy movie, more enhancing what is there and especially the cold/warmth of the picture. If there is alot of cold colors then the whole picture turns less colorful, vice versa to bring the warmth in for example the Utah map. I have though added a few eye candy options such as dirty lens combined with bloom to give it some presence.

As most Reshade settings, this does also turn dark nights extra dark depending on the settings on the specific map. If you want it less dark then i recommend pressinf Shift+F2 ingame and untick 'Levels'. This can also be done if you dont like the strong contrast.

Unzip the zipped file into your 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\Bin64'-folder. The Reshade version is 3.0.8.183, if you want to install it the 'usual' way first.

Ive attached the Reshade version im using, if you want to install that first. Im not yet sure you need to install it before extracting the zip of your choice but to rule things out if youre having a problem itll help.

Complete installation instructions for first time users:

Install Reshade by opening the Reshade 308 exe-file and clicking Select Game, go to your Bin64-folder, mines at:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\Bin64

    There you select the "BeamNG.drive.x64"-exe/application

Make sure Direct 3D 10+ is selected and install.

Now you can start Beamng to make sure Reshade is installed correct. Youll see a bar at top and when its done loading you can access the Reshade window by hitting Shift+F2.

You can start a tutorial by following the red instructions but what i did now was just closing the Reshade window and exited Beamng.

Then i unzipped my Clueless-zip into the Bin64, so that the files in the Reshade-shaders-folder in the zip overwrote the one existing. This will also mean that the Test.ini is unzipped into the Bin64-folder.

Then i started Beamng and waited for Reshade to load all the shaders, then i hit Shift+F2.

Shit was still red but other than that i could now find my preset in the roll list, i chose it and behold, it loaded up and was activated!

I pressed continue on all the red fields to get rid of them, it didnt have any impact on my preset.

After that i chose what key i wanted to use to activate/deactivate Reshade, i chose 'END'.

NOW FOR THE VERY DARK MXAO, as Hyena stated before, in the preprocessor part, under the Settings tab in Reshade, you need to set RESHADE_DEPTH_INPUT_IS_REVERSED=1
Then you need to reload Reshade so either restart Beamng or hit ALT+ENTER to force window mode, thatll force a restart of Reshade. Hit ALT+ENTER again to get fullscreen back.

    Issues/bugs hints:

**(Caps Lock is King) ONLY UNZIP THE Rehade-shaders-FOLDER AND Test.ini if youre using an older edit, NOT THE OTHER TWO FILES SINCE THEY ARE NOT NEEDED AND WONT WORK IF YOUVE INSTALLED BEAMNG IN ANY OTHER LOCATION THAN THE ORIGINAL STEAM/STEAMAPPS/COMMON... ON C:

**@JPHL made me aware of a problem that i had forgotten about. His MXAO and DOF didnt work. If you have a similar issue then try running BeamNG as admin, that or make sure BeamNG has permission to read and write for your/all users.

Example pics of earlier versions below, there is plenty of version scattered through this thread:

It brings out so much more detail and depth of the textures, as well as saturation :D

sʎǝꓘ and Octothorpe Obelus, happy you both enjoy it :)

'Las Casolinas de Vapor', by Ouerbacker, dont think he has officially released it and i couldnt find it anywhere but its definitely one of my favourite ones, not the most detailed but makes for good, simple scenerys.

I made a few changes to it, if anyone wants to skip ingame DOF ive now added and configured that to the shader. Still not eye-candy settings cause i want it to be driveable although you can get nice out-of-focus screenshots with it. Also adjusted bloom settings so that things get less crazy white when the sun is at zenit, adjusted a few other filters here and there to get more color and warmth out of it, along with less darkness when its night time.

At it again, adjusted bloom, dof and some more. I see this as Type 2 although much has changed since the earlier Type 2.

More from the latest release. Kind of got a good DOF mix of eye candy/driveability. Removed Some of the saturation, dont want it to look like Forza Horizon.

Ok, Im using a combination of Reshade AO and ingame AO so ill have a look at turning ingame AO off and enhancing the Reshade AO. Might be tricky to get the shadows darker without anything else getting effected but ill give it a try.

    UPDATE:

Tried a fresh install of MXAO for Reshade, went bananas on the settings but i just cant get a setting that allows for the Reshade AO to NOT flicker on and off at certain angles, ive increased the ingame SSAO to max and it doe work well with my Reshade settings, ill try and see if i can find any solution, otherwise my recommendation is to use the ingame SSAO, ill see if i can get you my current values.

I cant get the Reshade AO to look as good as ingame AO so youll find my settings in one of the pics. Ive also increased Reshade contrast to get shadows darker, ofcourse it increases more than shadows but worked kind of good.

    Glad you both like it!

Well that last pic could be a DOF problem.. But the focus is set in the center so shouldnt be blurred at all. Did it flicker in and out of DOF/blur?
I, and others playing Beamng, had weird problems pop up when Nvidia released a new driver update, i rolled back mine, might have to do with that.

Had a look at the DOF, might sort you problem RRGL, but im not sure. It does effect a problem with the hood camera for cars with a short or very steep slooping hood (except the VW Bug cause getting that steep hood unblurred will effect the DOF too much for now) where it would blur the whole hood, now it should be better.
