Need Assistance with "Gear Synchro Damage" Feature

Hello BeamNG Drive Community,

I hope you're all doing well. I've been encountering a challenge with the recent addition of the "gear synchro damage" feature in the game. When I shift gears quickly, the vehicles are not synchronizing properly, leading to damage.

After exploring the in-game settings, it seems there's no option available to disable this feature. I'm reaching out to the community to see if anyone else has experienced this issue or if there's a workaround to address it.

If there's a way to turn off the "gear synchro damage" feature or any tips on mitigating its impact, I would greatly appreciate your insights. Let's discuss and share our experiences to enhance our BeamNG Drive gameplay.

Ur not supposed to disable itt bcs in real lifee thats hoaw manual transmisioms work

 

I need this too. I have G29 and H-Shifter. Whenever I go from 2nd to 3rd gear my G29 thinks (for a milisecond) that i put 4th gear and 4th gear synchronizer gets damage. It would be great to be able to disable synchro damage

 

I always use Arcade Gearbox, but even then when I drive a manual transmission car there is sometimes "Synchronizer damage" of 1%. So even the code doesn't know how to shift properly without damaging the synchronizer.

This started happening with one of their recent hotfixes when there was a flurry of them coming out almost every day. The hotfixes have stopped dead now. maybe the devs are regrouping trying to figure out what to do.

 

Bring up the "pedals and axis" ui app and make sure the clutch channel is at 100% during shifts
