Really looking forward to this
Same, over the past couple years I've been occationally checking to see if anyone's making/porting NFS stuff for Beam. This one in particular having taken up a lot of my childhood.

Btw, this map makes me remember good moments!
does anyone here remember most wanted 2012? that was a beautiful game for its time. the flaws of the gameplay were huge tho. I would love to see a version of that map made for beam
Map runs badly. Can run other maps like Los Injurus just fine.
For me the map runs just fine while the Los Injurus seems more demanding.
What you can try is switching to Vulkan API.
The whole map has a very rough physical mesh (used for collisions) which leads to roads being extremely bumpy and generally unpleasant to drive on, as well as traffic cones becoming pillars of death, among other problems.
I appreciate the feedback. If i knew how to smooth out the roads, i would. I really would. This was a simple Convert from AC to Beam. Unfortunately the person who made the AC Import has not made any new changes since the release. Im still looking for help for the map and so far, no one has come forward, or at least people have but have not responded with updates making me believe they just yoinked the map and dipped. With the first clip it's to do with the prop-part of the map, that being poles, garbage bins, static cars, signs etc etc and removing or disabling the collision would make the map a little strange to drive around.
If anyone has suggestions or is able to help with the map it would be greatly appreciated. I only know how to import/export, i dont know anything about blender nor how i can fix these issues.
Makes no sense whatsoever. And vulkan doesn't work at all, just crashes the game.
Well then get a better pc
Childhood memories. The best NFS game ever.
The map is awesome but needs to be more FPS Friendly
I have to run the game on lowest to run this map.
Yup. And while I don't have the best gpu, I have a ryzen 7 3700x and an ssd, there's no reason it should be running the way it is. I do love this game, but this update has seemingly broken more than it fixed and has given me some annoyance.
