im making a map through the video by car killer but i trying to assign a material to the terrain through Terrain Painter, nothing appears in the material preview and the terrain is painted black i want to know where ive made a mistake and what i have to do to fix this
It's almost always resolution related. You need to make sure the terrain files match the specified resolutions. Materials are a ball ache. Best way is to copy across from another map.
nvm the problem was resolved through the texture upgrade button btw thanks for the answering my question!
