    So I have a PC that doesn't meet any minimum requirements for most of the games I play, or try to play. I have all the information about my computer here:
    PC: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04755753
    Motherboard: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04439095
    Porcessor: http://products.amd.com/en-us/searc...for-AIOs/A8-6410-with-Radeon™-R5-Graphics/149
    Graphics: http://www.amd.com/en-us/products/graphics/desktop/r5

    I want to upgrade my processor and my graphics card but I don't know a single person who knows about upgrading computers, so this is where you guys come in to help me. The main thing I'm worried about is that it says my motherboard does not support any processor upgrades. Does it not allow upgrades or does it just not support upgrades. I know it says it doesn't support upgrades but I don't want to buy something that can't go into my PC.
    My budget for a Processor and Graphics card is preferably 100 USD each, or a total of $200. Obviously I wan't my upgrades to balance out I don't wan't my PC to be like a car with a lot of power that spins its wheels in every gear because of the lack of tires.
    I do not mind going over that budget if it is not by too much over. The brand of processor I want is AMD because they seem cheaper to get similar performance so that is the only restriction besides price. But other than that I'm not sure, like graphics cars. But if I need a new motherboard I have absolutely no idea what I would want.

    Summery:
    Max price: About 200 USD (Processor and Graphics)
    Processor: AMD
    Graphics: No restriction besides price yet.
    Motherboard: Will I need one?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    I don't really have the money to buy a whole new PC. If you know of a great gaming PC that is cheap and at least meets minimum specs for BeamNG I might consider it, but it's not likely. I'm already going to need a laptop to take with me to tech school because I'm not taking my tower with me.

    I run a gaming laptop (Asus ROG G750) which don't get me wrong it was expensive but it's from 2013 so you could find a used one if you wanted to for cheap (Cheaper than full price). btw i get 30-40 fps on beamng with 3+ cars

    I'm not really looking for a gaming laptop because the laptop I will be buying is only going to be for school. So it's going to be a cheap one as I have my desktop at home for games and everything else. As soon as I'm done with school I will probably be selling the laptop anyway as I will have no use for it.

    Not much you can do, the CPU wouldn't be much of an upgrade, and you can't add A GPU, the only thing you could upgrade is the RAM and HDD or SSD.
    You need a new rig.

    Here, a budget BeamNG PC for just under $300 and that's as cheap as you'll get, you'll have to re use the ram and hard drive from your HP but other than that you're good.

    I was kinda affriad I would be able to upgrade after looking at what I had. I could use RAM from my broken PC that would put me up to 16GB.

    Although I'm not really looking at getting a new PC I guess it might be my only option. I'm sure my parents won't be happy when I tell them I want a new PC. I think I got this about a year ago. I've been messing around on that site and built my own PC a little baces off of what you had., again I don't know to much about building PC, just thought I would try something. Is my build good? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/DCQVf8 I have 16GB of ram already like you said I would use the hard drive from my HP

    I first hoped for a internal psu, so you could upgrade a low profile GTX 1050. But well, no. Its like my movie PC which i bought on ebay for a few €'s, external "laptop" PSU.

    No real way to upgrade such a PC, you can take as someone wrote already take out the Ram & the HDD to salvage that & use it in a new PC.

    I quite like that build. I'll see what I can do now that I know can't really upgrade mine.

    Thanks for the help guys!

    Anytime!
    Let me tell you what I'd expect from that build:
    BeamNG.drive = 50 FPS on high
    Overwatch = 60 on ultra
    The Witcher 3 = 30 on medium
    (I have that card and the I3-6100, so very relative to that build)

    P.S. If you order the CPU and MoBo off of Microcenter, you get $30 off :)

    Clean your important data off that PC you have with the AMD APU in it, and get quotes about trading it in at a PC shop. You might be able to get some money for it, if you're worried, take out the hard drive or tell them you want that removed or secure-erased. A new 4xxx or 6xxx series intel CPU-based system will decimate that thing and you will love it.
    --Good luck.
