hello all, On the car I am making, the front suspension is collapsing around turns. i have tried different tie rod connection points upping the number on the beam deform for steering/coilovers/beams upping the number on the beam strength for steering/coilovers/beams another pic
This is not nearly enough information to really help diagnose. Off the top of my head, possible causes of steering breaking are: slidenodes not set up properly (node position not placed close enough to rail) easy to check just compare that your rack nodes are placed in the same y,z coordinates as the mounting nodes (example, rack nodes on the hatch are fh6r,fh6l, mounting nodes are s1r,s1l). wheel limiters reaching their bounds before reaching full lock. Try commenting out any limiter beams. If the problem goes away, slowly reintroduce the limiters, once you've found the offending limiter, change its short/long bounds until it works. steering lock exceeding the travel of the slidenode rack. Try reducing the hydro factor for steering. Watch the rack nodes to see if they hit the mounting nodes when steering towards lock. self collision of nodes enabled and being forced too close together by the action of steering. For example, if you have self collision on your rack end node and self collision on your rack mounting node, when they get close (like within 0.02m), bad things might happen.
