If you use STABLE version of the game
    -Download zip
-Open zip and put the vehicle folder in BEAMNGINSTALLATION > vehicle

It should look like BEAMNGINSTALLATION > vehicles > CARFOLDER > lot of files

If you use EXPERIMENTAL (search on the wiki if you have no idea)
    -Download zip
    -Open zip

-IF zip is structured like (ZIP > Vehicle > name > files) put the ZIP in BEAMNGINSTALLATION > content > vehicles
-IF zip is structured like (ZIP > name > files) put the FOLDER that is inside the zip in BEAMNGINSTALLATION > vehicles (like you did in the Stable one)

There is usually installation instruction on the first posts of each vehicle thread here, so you just follow them in most cases.

Download the zip. Open it and put the folder in BEAMNINSTALLATION > vehicles.
For BEAMNGINSTALLATION I mean the folder inside the Steam folder, not in the documents.

When you download a mod right click on the folder and extract it to /steam/steamapps/common/beamng.drive/vehicles :D

    (imported from here)
BEAMNG-INSTALLATION it's where your BeamNG is installed (Steam>SteamApps>Common>BeamNG.Drive)

    You haven't spawned it?
It's in the vehicle selector (CTRL+E or SPACE). Obviously you have to spawn if you want to play with it, it will not appear by itself :p

Pro-Tip, if you want better help, provide screenshots of the game and the folder showing how you've installed it.

    Mod Installation Guide (BNGGR:MIR1)

Hi! Usually a mod installation issue is a simple fix. Depending on your game version you will need to extract the mod to a specific folder.

If you are running the Tech Demo version of the game, you CANNOT install additional mods to the game.

If you are running the experimental branch or stable branch (post Feb 2015) of the game, some mods can be installed into Documents\BeamNG.drive\mods. If you are unsuccessful with this method try the next paths:

    (64 BIT)
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\content\vehicles -- For vehicles
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\content\levels -- For levels
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\ -- For most UI apps

    (32 BIT)
    C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\content\vehicles -- For vehicles
    C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\content\levels -- For levels
    C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\ -- For most UI apps

If you are running the stable branch (prior to Feb 2015) of the game, the paths are as follows:

    (64 BIT)
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\vehicles -- For vehicles
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\levels -- For levels
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\ -- For most UI apps

    (32 BIT)
    C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\vehicles -- For vehicles
    C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\levels -- For levels
    C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\ -- For most UI apps

Note that some mods are only for a specific version of the game , and if you are having issues using your installed mods this is most likely the culprit, please read over threads carefully before downloading.

Wow, this kinda' explains the multiple filepaths/folders I'm seeing and wondering about. Thanks for this and I don't understand why this thread doesn't have more feedback.
Maybe I'm just behind the times.:p Never even connected that 64 bit was just recently unleashed.

It wasn't, steam has different install paths on 32 and 64 bit windows versions, that is all that was referenced.

Thanks. So what does that mean as far as what Beam is using?

Literally its just the difference between steam being installed in "Program Files" on32 bit windows or "Program Files (x86)" on 64 bit windows. Beamng is then installed within steam (by default). Only difference is then literally the change in install path from above. Makes zero impact on beamng.
