Hi , I'm currently working on a SBR Diesel engine.

the problem is that i'm pretty unexperienced with transmissions and never did a diesel before. Is there anyone who would like to help making the transmission work flawlessly?

    DCT 7-Speed and Manual 6-Speed

if so , please PM me , and i'll send you the engine files.

Of course I'll give credits to the one who helped.

    thanks in advance.

Ratios themselves may be similar to petrol, shift points lower for smaller diesel rev range, longer final drive too

the problem is that the car's revs do not go as low as desired after shifting. shifts up at ~5000 and starts revving at 4500 again.

The longer final drive usually accounts for this, it's very rare for the ratios themselves to be altered in a diesel car. Only the final drive, occasionally if a gear is adjusted it's only the overdrive gears (any gears with below a 1.0 torque multiplication). If you haven't done so, lengthen it.
