New PC Build

My budget is about 250$ and I also do creative work on it, like Blender and video editing. I am kind of stuck with it sadly, I mean I could overclock. It has the same single thread performance as a Ryzen 2000 or 3000 chip, so if you have 4 core Ryzen, that would also be comparable. I need 24GB or more, 16 does not cut it sadly. Thank you for you suggestions!

 

if 30 fps feels smooth to you then I do truely feel bad

 

Until I got my GPU, 18-24fps was smooth to me. Before that I had MOBILE Intel HD graphics 620. 14-18fps.

Before THAT, I used ATI Mobility Radeon 4250 and a MOBILE Athlon. I still have that PC, and it still works.

 

Leaving the traffic ai to decide for me, it will usually spawn 3-4 cars at a time, keeping my FPS at or above 60 while pushing 1440p. Currently have a mixture of Normal/ High for graphics selected. I prioritize smoother gameplay as I'm using a wheel and pedal setup.

 

AMD works absolutely fine with 2400MHz RAM. I use that and get 60fps ultra settings (vsync) at 1080p and can run it on High at 60fps 1440p (vsync). All my games run well (I have a 1060 so not a very high end card). But anyway, yes AMD runs absolutely fine with RAM under 3000

 

Get a raspberry. 100% sure itl do 120fps @ 8k res.

 

okay yes it runs fine but it’s not ideal in the slightest.

 

Most of us don't really have ideal setups.. although, we would love to have it lol

Whenever a game hits above 60fps in my pc I feel so weird, I'm so used to 25-30fps that 60+ just feels odd
