We need more specific details. What map, what vehicle(s), and what are your system specs?

    K Series

Intel Core i5, with an Asus graphics card that I don't remember the name but it's mid-range.

Well "an Asus GPU" doesn't help. The model is important, let me know when you think of it. Also, the exact i5 would help as well.

The i5 is the "Metro" one.

The gps app, if its on your screen reduced FPS, for me at least. Try that,

"Metro" doesn't help. We need the actual model number, e.g. i5-xxxxXX (lowercase Xs being the numbers, uppercase being possible letters after the numbers), so for example, "i5-6500".

Ok guys, thanks for the help, but it's not getting anywhere fast.

@OP, when the game launches, press the 'SUPPORT' button.
Then leave here the ID number you get.

Are you sure your game settings are the same as before? The update may have reset them.

If you have the 'Navigation App' on screen, try to remove it, it takes a good hit on FPS atm

Alright, I'll go ahead and list my own specifications since I'm experiencing the same frame drop (albeit from 40-70 to 20-25 in JRI/any map with seemingly significant tree population). I've done everything one would think of (ie restarting the computer, closing background programs, checking the game settings, etc)
All the game's visual settings are at normal quality. The game is still fully playable it just seems to chug really hard at what seems to be random moments.

    I'm running the following:
    Intel i7-4720HQ @ 2.6
    Nvidia GeForce GTX 965M
