Newbie Problems

    I have Version 0.3.7.7, is this the newest version? If it is why are some of the items like the spin top and car crusher not working? Also what are some trusted sites to purchase car packs or download mods for the game?

    Steam will only let you play newest version, should answer that question.

    Spin top and crusher are broken.

    There are no trusted mod sites except the showroom section on these forums.

    Create a vehicle folder and level folder inside of the mod folder located in documents-BeamNG.drive:)

    or just not be lazy and open steam files , steamapps , common , Beamng.drive , content , vehicles , and copy it there .

    For me, them and the cannon aren't working.

    This didn't work but putting them in the games pre-made vehicle & level folder did.

    \Documents\BeamNG.drive\mods\levels
    \Documents\BeamNG.drive\mods\vehicles

    If you want to you can create a "levels", "vehicles", "apps" folder for more organisation.
    I found it easier to delete the game and re-install it because it changed so much.

    That's the hard way of doing it, if you want to not have to create 3 different paths for each mod and edit jbeams and stuff without having to completely restart the game then do it the way Hirochi said with the actual vehicle or terrain folder in the section where it goes.

    It's not the hard way of doing it. It's the way the devs and the game want you to do it now. you don't have to do anything once you put the mods in the mod folder. Creating extra ones is optional. You don't have to edit anything either. The game know where to put the mods. I re-installed my game because I messed up the update. Nothing has to be created unless you want to create the vehicles and levels folder, but that's optional.

    I meant you have to create a zip, then a vehicles folder, then the actual vehicle folder in it and you cant edit jbeams and shit without restarting the game

    mud wont show up on a few of the places that ive downloaded from this site how do u fix and some dirt wont show up:confused::(

    which means you totally ignored what he said.
    You can create a vehicles folder in the mods folder and put pre-zip formatted mods into that folder as if it was the vehicles folder in the game install location. But that's already been said a few times now so I wont go into further detail. If copying into a folder is harder just because its in Documents/BeamNG.Drive/mods instead of C:/Users/claytonCarmine/steam/steamApps/common/BeamNG.Drive/ then you might want to lrn2compu2r
