No microtransaction infested hell, and maybe not abandoning the single player completly. There was so much they could do with single player DLC in the GTAV world, and they just ignored it...

But I wouldn't mind something set in the 70's. That kinda sounds fun

Do you have any better ideas for the soundtrack? The only rule is it have to be older than 1979 and it couldn't be in a previous GTA title

Not really I'm afraid... I kinda run out of music knowledge when it comes to anything older than the '90s

I’d like 80s much much more as personally it is my favourite time period of car design and music.

Maybe modern Russia? Or Soviet Union in 80s? That would be interesting.

I’d like some snow also. At least in some part if the map. Oh, and better ragdoll physics.

And did I mention no microtransaction bullshit?(But probably that’s the only thing out of this that is coming to next GTA)

YMCA, In the navy? I could probably think of some more, but they might be from 80s

Another country would be interesting. They only ever do the USA, so it'd be interesting to see how they handled somewhere else

Unfortinantly... Apparently there was a statement that said their publishers were interested in having microtransactions in all their future games...

True, but GTA really blew up at the GTA3 mark. And GTA2 is a very different game to the more recent GTA's we've gotten.

Also London in the 60's is still a great idea for a Grand Theft Auto game.

IMHO, the division should stay as it is: GTA doing "traditional" modern crime, Watch Dogs doing high-tech modern stuff, Mafia doing old-time crime and Saints Row taking the wacky stuff.

That said, I once made a list of cars for a Mafia IV concept, taking part in 1980 Los Platos (Las Vegas):
    https://www.reddit.com/r/Mafia3/comments/6ohgtd/mafia_iv_car_list_idea_aztec_state_fictional/

And an incomplete song list for it:

I would like to see GTA set in some post-comunistic Eastern European country (Russia, Poland, Bulgaria, Serbia, etc.) in present day time.
Location would be set in large city with both historic centres and communistic building blocks, and with abandoned industrial complexes.
Cars would include cars from 1920s to 2010s, but most of cars would be from 1970s to 2000s. Here are some examples:

    2002 - 2007 Pierrot P03

    1962 - 1970 Hans-Chemnitz DC-Serie

    2016 - present Hans-Chemnitz D-Serie

    2004 - 2009 General Engrande

    1992 - 1997 Yokosuki Manager

    1979 - 2006 Lena 1700

    1972 - 2009 Proleter 1205

    1996 - 2004 Manzini 3000

    2000 - 2008 Molve W6

    1989 - 1993 MV Dassler

    2004 - 2011 Major Fortaleza

    2015 - present Seoul ZX2

    1935 - 1939 Hans-Chemnitz S56

    1995 - 2002 HEF 500-Serie

    1997 - 2003 Leine SCC

    2003 - 2011 Carpor Dexel

    2004 - 2013 Nugg Way

    1994 - 1998 Pinaux Nermen

    1970 - 1992 FST F10

    1994 - 2004 VDC VU

    2014 - present Hans-Chemnitz HT

    1977 - 1992 MGZ 4455

    2009 - present Transit TC200

    1998 - 2004 BWF CityS

    2001 - present AUT APG100

    1972 - 1992 Bin 400

Actually, the GTAverse has its Mercedes-Benz (Benefactor), BMW (Übermacht), Jeep Grand Cherokee (Canis Seminole), Audi (Obey), Ferrari 360 (Grotti Turismo) and Ford (Vapid).

And it's hard to find cars older than ca. 25 years in Poland. I see more Range Rovers than Żuks, and more Porsches than Ladas.

IMO GTA vehicles names are hideous. They sound like someone created them in a minute. Maybe they will change vehicles names in GTA.
I added Zuk because I needed some old van that would sit abandoned in industrial areas. There would be a lot of other vehicles.

GTA vehicles' names may sound hideous because most of them are sexual and profanity puns. Personally, I'd like to this tradition to continue since it is one of the last bits of old Rockstar legacy.
