So there wasn't a mod folder per what the wiki says so I made one and downloaded a few cars. Didn't see how to access them so I moved them to the vehicles folder and I saw the folder when I hit shift-E in game but not the cars. What exactly am I doing wrong?

Well there should be no mod folder. So just delete it. The important folders for you are the "vehicles" folder, where you put your downloaded cars and the "levels" folder, where you put your downloaded maps. Make sure that you extract the downloaded file with winrar or 7zip before you put it in the vehicles folder. It should work now when you press ctrl+E ingame. Just select your downloaded car. Hope this helps.

Ok so in the Wiki it just means the respected folder for whatever mod. Got it, thanks! I'm still new to computer games, been a console guy all my life haha.
