No moon in the sky on any map

So I was messing about with the night skybox trying to make it darker, when I happened to notice there is no texture for the moon in the sky at night. I reinstalled the game and even deleted the Beamng.Drive user folder in %appdata%/local to no avail. I don't know why this is happening, it seems like it's only me as I have looked around the forums and no one else has posted about it.

 

That's insane, I didn't think anybody else but me had ever noticed that.
BeamNG does not have a moon.

 

I just noticed it now, I wonder if the recent update broke it or a few updates back.

 

It's never had a moon.

 

Wait what?!?! My mind is blown, I've been playing for years and just now noticing, for some reason in my mind I remember seeing a moon in the sky years back in the old updates.

 

Really? That’s kinda funny. You don’t really notice that since you’re usually focused on your car and the road, especially at night.
