No smoke in my game?

So, i just installed some of @cessni's mods and now i have no smoke for the tires or exhaust smoke. i uninstalled them and still no luck. help would be appreciated

 

Tire Smoke is disabled by default, so if you enable, then disable HDR, you can get tire smoke back. However, you may have to do this every time you start the game.

For exhaust smoke, are you sure you're accelerating? Try enabling the parking brake on the Moonhawk (by pressing P), and accelerate. You should see smoke.

 

ive enabled hdr 1000s of times and still no smoke

Yep, i'm sure there's no exhaust smoke. when i accelerate with the T-Series there's ABSOLUTELY NO smoke

 

Clear your cache. Fairly sure you are meant to run in safe mode as well as clearing cache to make sure that none of your mods are messing with the game.

If you installed mods that mess around with .dll's a file integrity check through steam could be useful, as enb's are often hard to remove.
