with quite a few mods i have, textures seem to be a problem. most notably with the 6x6 hopper mod, but i see people running it with proper textures all the time, is there any way to get them to show up that you guys know of?
That would be a problem with that mod. Its author have to fix the missing textures (or basically anybody that understand how this works can do it himself) You may want to also check if your issue isn't caused by another mod (broken or outdated)

Then the second part of my previous message. You probably have another mod that is conflicting. Disable the other mods, press CLEAR CACHE from the launcher and check again. You need to press CLEAR CACHE every time you disable/enable a mod, so materials can regenerate.
